Winter Boat Storage

We offer the complete winter storage package to meet boat owners needs. You can choose between using our 100,000 sq feet of hard standing,  15,000 square feet under cover, or berths afloat.

We have two slipways with a capacity of 38 tons and 18 metres. We have hoists and boat mover with a maximum capacity of 38 tons and 18 metres.

With a modern toilet block, showers, and launderette facilities which are well positioned to meet the requirements of boat owners. Access to the boats being stored is controlled by our security barrier which restricts unauthorised movements.

With the full back up of on-site boatyard facilities and repairs and maintenance from our skilled craftsmen our sheltered location is an ideal safe location to meet your storage needs.

Hard Standing Winter Boat Storage

We have been providing safe secure hard standing winter storage facilities for many years. In total we have over 100,000 sq ft of hard standing storage available.

On arrival we will slip your boat, unstep the mast when necessary and lay it on the deck or store it, provide a high pressure wash and scrub and move your vessel to it’s storage space, place in a cradle, or block off or set down on hard standing for up to 24 weeks.

Your vessel can be launched in the spring as per your requirements.

With full on-site boatyard facilities available our experienced craftsmen can help should your vessel require maintenance during the winter period. Have a look at our repairs section for more details.

Your vessel will remain accessible to you should you wish to work on it during the winter.

Hard Standing Winter Storage Prices

Package Deals

For craft arriving between 01/10/22 – 07/12/22 and stored to 31/03/23 – payment in full prior to arrival

For craft arriving between 08/12/22 – 31/12/22 and stored to 31/03/23 less 10% discount (If available)    – payment in full prior to arrival

For craft arriving between 01/01/23 – 31/01/23 and stored to 31/03/23 less 20% discount (If available)    – payment in full prior to arrival

Unstepping / Stepping of masts: Price does not include the connection or disconnection of wiring/cables etc and is offered on a “clear deck” basis. Removal or replacement of covers etc will be charged for at yard labour rates.

Prices per metre will be calculated on the basis of the overall length of the boat, including davits, bowsprits, boarding ladders, stern drives, tenders, outdrives, anchors, pulpits and pushpits and any other extensions fore and aft of the vessel.

A nominal charge of £45.80 will be raised for movement of craft to and from our pontoons to the slipway.

All prices include VAT . All fees payable in advance. If payment is not received, fees will accrue at the daily rate. This price list supersedes all previous price lists and is valid from 1/10/22

Winter Berths Afloat

As part of our winter storage package we are able to provide berths afloat on drying soft mud berths. Our sheltered position means that this is an excellent alternative to storage out of the water.

Electric points are available on most pontoons and all our marina pontoon moorings have access to fresh water, with even more on-site facilities available – including modern toilets and showers, and our own launderette for your use.

Located on the western edge of Chichester Harbour we’re perfectly positioned to take advantage of the natural shelter, offering calm marina berths and safe boat storage.
