1. MASTS
Basic Service - Mast left fully prepared to unstep (i.e. rigging screws freed off; all ropes fed to mast.. boom removed. locking pins removed and electrics disconnected).
Full Service-Includes all of the above (Except all ropes fed to mast and electrics disconnected and re-connected)

2.UNDERCOVER STORAGE
Owners storing craft undercover are reminded that (a) A key is available to enable customers to use the shed at weekends on condition that the door is kept locked at all times when HYC are not present and that it is not left "wedged open". (b) They are able to carry out their own, work to decks, topsides and interior of the boat, but, should work be required on the bottom of the craft this may only be carried out by the yard unless agreement has been reached to the contrary. (c) Electricity is available for band tools free of charge and heaters by prior agreement. (d) Craft may not be used for sleeping overnight (e) Gas cylinders should be removed from craft whilst stored undercover. (f) They must sign the Fire Risk Assessment Form. (g) The Fire and Safety Record Book located inside the side door must be signed on each visit on arrival and departure.

3. ROPES and FENDERS
Sufficient rope for bow, stem and 2 springs must be left available on board all craft at time of slipping and launching. Sufficient fenders should always be available. We reserve the right NOT to move a boat if these arc not available.

4. LADDERS
Customers are requested to provide their own ladders/scaffolding and in their 0wn interests must be left secured to their own craft when not in use.

5. LAUNCHING/SLIPPING DATES
Whilst every effort is made to comply with dates requested it is not always possible to keep to those due to numbers requesting the same date, weather and tide conditions being unfavourable, or access to craft blocked by other craft etc.LAUNCH DATES MUST BE CONFIRMED IN WRITING TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO DATE REQUESTED. Craft will be left on pontoon at storage rates until Sunday evening after launch date. pontoon berth rates will be applicable after then.

6. SCRUBBING
All craft will be automatically scrubbed off UNLESS WE ARE REQUESTED NOT TO. All craft stored undercover must be clean when stored. All "Blocked off" craft will be scrubbed.

7. STORAGE
Storage charges will be raised for the total length of time a craft is on yard premises. Short periods of storage will only be reserved craft on an "as available" basis unless agreement has been reached to the contrary beforehand.

8. ARRIVAL DATE
Please phone the yard one or two days before intended arrival to assist us in placing you on a temporary berth before being hauled out.

9. SUBCONTRACTORS
Sited on yard premises may only be employed through the office. Owners wishing to employ external subcontractors must obtain the permission of the yard and proof of insurance will be required.

10. PAYMENT OF ACCOUNTS
Our terms are for settlement within 7 days of invoice and prior to the craft leaving our premises. Interest will be charged at 8% above the Bank of England base rate plus £40 credit collection charge and applies to the entire overdue invoice amount including VAT. Craft will not be launched if there is an overdue account.

11. BMF
All work is carried out in accordance with the terms of business as set out by the BMF. British Marine Federation.
